We take our time getting to know each bride personally and work hard to make your bridal vision come to life. We spend a lot of time learning and bettering our craft so we can deliver excellent work on each of our clients.
Anahla Barkley
I'm Anahla, a hair & makeup Artist here at Kallos! I've always loved the creative world. I was an art major the few years I attended college before I found my career as a stylist.
My mother was a salon owner my whole life so I grew up surrounded by the beauty world. I was employed as a receptionist throughout high school and college. I was able to help assist with a few weddings in college and fell in love with helping create a brides vision come to life and to help them feel beautiful on their special day.
Shortly after, I received my cosmetology license and learned from the stylists at Kallos Salon. I have 5 years of experience working in the wedding industry I have a strong passion to learn new skills and keep up with the current trends.
Jessica Swindell
I'm Jess, and I am so excited to meet you! I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in apparel and textiles and I moved to North Carolina a few years ago!
My love for creating crosses over between the worlds of fashion and beauty. I have always loved playing with makeup and the creative process it has. I later on received my HMU artistry certificate and I have 5 years formally in the hair and makeup business.
One of my favorite quotes is from Blake Lively, "The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence", and that is what I strive for my clients, to feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside.
Angela Gilbert
I'm Angela, owner, stylist & mentor at Kallos Salon! I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 25 + years. Being in the industry for so long and becoming a salon owner I have learned so much about styling hair and working events. I do my best to create a seamless experience for my clients with advanced results.
I have a passion for teaching and challenging other stylists to grow in their craft. We have routine creative sessions where we learn and try new techniques to sharpen our skills.
I feel confident the team I've grown can help you achieve your dream look while also having fun in the chair!
